Verus: Animated Christmas Card

Verus is a national health, safety and environmental risk management consultancy providing bespoke solutions to businesses. Following on from their website when Verus asked us to create an animated Christmas card they could send to their clients, we came up with a fun and festive concept that gave a nod to 2021. The resulting card depicts a team of of Verus’ totem animal, the puffin, experiencing the year’s particular challenges – working from home, life in lockdown, zoom calls being interrupted by family and online deliveries – all the while becoming more and more ruffled and chubby. We can relate! At the end the puffins experience the reward of a relatively normal Christmas lunch. Less than one-minute long, the animation is designed to be shared electronically. It was so much fun to create.
