Accessibility maintenance is not a one off thing. Ask Sport Access Foundation
25 May 2026
An accessible website is more than simply meeting compliance requirements — it creates a better experience for everyone. Accessible websites are easier to use, more inclusive, work better with assistive technologies, improve usability and often create stronger engagement for users of all abilities.
However, accessibility is not a one-time task. Websites evolve over time. New content is added, pages are updated, plugins change, videos are uploaded and functionality expands. Even websites that launch fully accessible can gradually move away from compliance as these changes occur.
That’s why ongoing accessibility reviews are so important.
At Sport Access Foundation (SAF), accessibility is reviewed annually to ensure the website continues to provide an inclusive experience for all users. This month we completed a new accessibility audit and implemented updates and improvements to help ensure the website remains accessible, usable and aligned with current standards and best practices.
