With more than 2,000 articles and an ever-growing archive, the ANMJ website is a substantial publishing platform—and recently we gave it a comprehensive overhaul.
Following an extensive website audit, the Blick team identified opportunities to improve performance, usability, content discovery and the experience for both readers and the ANMJ team managing the site.
We then got to work implementing a wide range of improvements. This included optimising plugins and scripts, refining caching and the database, improving mobile usability and article layouts, reviewing navigation, strengthening SEO, and making it easier for visitors to discover and continue reading relevant content.
Importantly, ANMJ has also been migrated to Blick’s new enterprise hosting environment, providing an even stronger foundation for the large and continually growing website.
The difference is immediately noticeable—the site is now lightning fast, more streamlined and easier to navigate, with additional features to improve reader engagement and a stronger platform for future growth.
It’s a great example of how an existing website doesn’t always need to be rebuilt. Sometimes a thorough audit, some clever optimisation and the right hosting environment can make an enormous difference.
