Centre for Eye Research Australia: Annual Report launched

Centre for Eye Research Australia is conducting ground-breaking research in the field of eyesight and we wanted to reflect this in the design of their latest Annual Report.

The key inspiration for this design was the concept of performing miracles through the restoration of sight. People with vision impairment may often experience a range of symptoms – blurred and distorted vision, dark or empty spaces blocking fields of vision, dimming of colour vision etc.

To represent a distortion of eyesight we used black and white and blurred/fuzzy treatments of images, which is in stark contrast to the full colour equivalent of the image, thereby illustrating the story of vision impaired or vision restored.
