Major Update to WASHinHCF Country Tracker Adds Powerful New Features
A significant update to the WASH in Health Care Facilities (WASHinHCF) Country Tracker has just been released, offering new features and improved functionality to support global progress on water, sanitation, hygiene, health care waste, and environmental cleaning in health care settings.
Developed by WHO and UNICEF in collaboration with Emory University and other partners, the Tracker now includes:
- Interactive country dashboards
- Enhanced data visualisation and comparison tools
- Greater access to policy and systems information
- Downloadable data for research and advocacy
Blick Creative was engaged to support the UX design, front-end development and visual presentation of the updated Tracker, ensuring it is clear, user-friendly, and accessible across devices and regions. The redesign reflects feedback from global stakeholders and aligns with the broader push for improved accountability and transparency following the 2019 World Health Assembly Resolution on WASH in HCF.
The Tracker remains a key tool for governments, NGOs, donors and advocates aiming to improve quality of care and strengthen health systems globally.
