Martin Luther Homes: virtual tours

Martin Luther Homes is a not-for-profit organisation with a proud history of looking after seniors for over 50 years. Located at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne’s East, it’s home to a spacious retirement village and a state-of-the-art aged care facility. The impact of the pandemic and the importance of providing a safe environment for residents and staff prompted Martin Luther Homes to ask Blick to create a virtual tour, so that families could view their loved one’s rooms and social and entertainment areas without being on site. The tours increase safety and are convenient for people who don’t live in the local area.
The shoot was a lot of fun. The Blick Team of Kylie, Ella and Mark along with 3D Virtual Tour videographer, Matt Salter, and staff from Martin Luther Homes ran a tight schedule – filming over 100 rooms and apartments while juggling the logistics of not intruding on residents as much as possible, despite having to set up each room and location and do the actual filming.
