My Lived ID: Filming Interviews

My Lived ID is a Monash Health-initiated digital hub about mental health for people with an intellectual disability. As part of our work to design and build the hub, we filmed interviews with three people with lived experience of intellectual disability, a carer and a clinician. To comply with COVID safe workplace protocols all interviews were filmed at Monash Clayton. The subjects hired through (VALID) being filmed were passionate about sharing their stories. They gave insight into their experiences, promoted their needs and challenges, and importantly, helped to ensure that people with an intellectual disability will have access to information and tools to help them with life and their mental health. My Lived ID has been a huge, exciting, humbling, and inspiring project for us. We can’t wait until it goes live and we can share it with you!
