Presentation to ANZRP

Our working relationship with Savvas Aidonopoulos of the Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform (ANZRP) has been long and productive. Recently Savvas asked our Director, Mark, to be a guest speaker at ANZRP’s weekly staff morning tea. Savvas wanted his team to learn about the history, achievements and future plans of companies that are like-minded in their environmental and ethical pursuits and want to hear their story. Mark spoke about:
- His staff’s motivation to ‘go green’ in Blick’s early days
- The Blick team culture and enthusiasm for improving or adding value to society as a whole
- Supporting environmental initiatives, which not only helps the environment, but is also great for business and represents opportunity
- Winning various environment awards such as the City of Yarra Sustainability awards
- Our yearly tree planting adventures with the Blick team, keen clients and families. So far, we’ve planted around 9,000 trees!
Mark enjoyed presenting to and meeting the ANZRP team. There was great conversation following the presentation, offering both Mark and ANZRP the opportunity to learn from each others’ experiences.
