YDAS – Poster: Helping Young People Understand Their Rights in the NDIS

Blick was proud to partner with the Youth Disability Advocacy Service (YDAS) to design their Your Rights in the NDIS poster — a visually engaging and accessible resource that empowers young people with disability to understand their rights when receiving NDIS supports.

The final concept uses expressive illustrations framed by soft blue shapes, a visual nod to the YDAS logo. These calming yet distinctive shapes help unify the layout and make each right easy to absorb. The 10 key rights are arranged in a clear two-column format, making the poster easy to navigate while ensuring all content fits harmoniously on the page.

Each right is supported by a short explanation written in plain English, making the content more accessible for younger audiences and people with cognitive disability. From the right to be safe and treated with respect, to choosing support workers and paying fair prices, this poster communicates vital information in a way that is both friendly and respectful.

The poster is available to download from the YDAS website and is a valuable tool for self-advocacy, education, and support coordination.
