The Achievement Program website goes live

21-Jul-2015

Blick has worked closely with CEIPS over the past 12 months to create and launch the Achievement Program website, which is now managed by the Cancer Council. As a critical initiative by Healthy Together Victoria, the Achievement Program provides holistic health education and accreditation for early childhood services, schools and workplaces throughout Victoria.

The site needed to appeal to a very broad audience given these core target groups. Through iterative design and early user feedback, it became evident that each group needed to see imagery that related to their environment, as well as have the complexity of the program explained in a sequential way. The resulting home page allows the user to choose which path to the Achievement Program they wish to take.

Blick also spent multiple days doing photoshoots on location across Melbourne specifically for the site. Visitors can now see early childhood centres, schools and workplaces who are already successfully implementing the program.

Whilst the front-end of the website is clean and simple, the technical complexity behind the scenes allows what was previously a paper-based accreditation process to be completely digitised.

The site integrates with the Achievement Program's Salesforce Database and submissions for achievements can now be made via private online portals. Health professionals, who assist settings with their progress, have their own portal where via an interactive map they have a bird's eye view of participants in a given municipality, and drill down to see the progress of any setting across Victoria.

Meeting the Australian Government’s requirements for site accessibility, the site has been built to Website Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) AA Level. This ensures the site is user-friendly for people with special needs, such as the vision impaired or people with fine motor skill difficulty.

We're proud to launch this robust, interactive and user-friendly website and encourage you to check it out!
